ONE People’s Campaign (OPC) has been fighting for government that works for the people and protects the planet since 2017. ONE People’s Campaign endorses and supports progressive candidates and policies that fight for a vision of putting working people before the profits of corporations and the super rich. Our platform is our foundation for building cities and a state that work for all of us.

OPC is powered by volunteers around the state. We train community members to engage and mobilize their neighbors to take action on important issues and elections, , run for office themselves, and build the collective power needed to win social, racial, environmental and economic justice.

OPC organizes in 7 Chicago neighborhoods and 12 central Illinois counties.  In Chicago, our membership is concentrated in 8 wards: 49, 48, 47, 46, 44, 43, 40 and 32. This includes the neighborhoods of Rogers Park, Edgewater, Uptown, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, North Center, Lincoln Square and Ravenswood. In Central Illinois, our membership is largely concentrated in the cities of of Peoria, Bloomington- Normal, Decatur, Springfield, Champaign-Urbana and Danville.

To invent your own life's meaning is not easy, but it's still allowed, and I think you'll be happier for the trouble. (1).png

We envision a society in which all voices are heard and government serves the interests of the people and the planet, so that communities thrive and every person lives with joy and dignity.

ONE People’s Campaign is committed to winning racial, gender, climate and economic justice by dismantling systems of oppression. As people directly affected by the issues, we accomplish this through year-round community engagement, advancing progressive policies, and building governing power across Illinois.
